Oh right, this LJ thing

This last weekend I weeded my much neglected back garden. The good news is that it looks like the tomatoes, beans, radishes, lettuce and spinach are doing pretty well. The bad news is that most of the more interesting things didn't survive my absence. I might try to pick up a couple of pepper and melon starts to replace them.

I might be getting a new car soon. My rear bumper cover isn't really staying on at highway speeds anymore, even with gorilla tape. I started the pre-approval process for a loan with the credit union, and it seems they like me.

I spent the weekend being anti-social and moody. I've been thinking about existential things like purpose, community and appreciation.
