My new job is going well. I'm going to be the EE in charge of the lab, in addition to everything else I do there. I also had my first software review today, just some changes to a GUI that I have been working on. More importantly, everyone was quite receptive to me writing any new software in Python instead of VC . Of course, I am now a bit worried that the same thing will happen here that has happened at pretty much every job I've ever had has: I'm hired to do one thing, but end up being the go to guy for programming. Sigh.
