West Texas smells like shit. Literally. OK, really West Texas smells like sulfides, methane, and other assorted hyrdocarbons, but really, isn't that what shit smells like?
Dallas has no sky. You can't see any stars and can barely make out the full moon.
People in costumes like having their pictures taken.
The air in Dallas has weight to it. It is really bizarre, feels like you are swimming all the time.
I now see fields of pleated skirts when I close my eyes.
Cute girls draw smut.
Yaoi is really popular, girls reading it are seen as cute.
Shoujou-ai is just as popular, but guys reading it are seen as perverts.
It is impossible to walk much in DFW. Pedestrians are second class citizens.
Directors are really intense.
Signs are fun.
I am the anti-bishonen. In fact, I am so not bishonen that my mere presence makes it impossible for random acts of yaoi to occur.
Imagine a Cartesian graph of the first quadrant. The x axis represents time, the y axis represents tiredness. The first line to plot, in red, is my tiredness vs time. The second line, in blue, is the amount of tiredness required for me to become depressed. When the blue line is lower than the red one I am depressed. The red line cycles on a more or less daily basis. The blue line changes much more slowly over time, but occasionaly becomes very erratic. This graph is all that is really needed to understand my moods. What would be nice is if I could figure out how to control the blue line.
The Japanese have really strange snacks.
Ruby is a nifty person.
Sara is a nice person.
Few cities have decent mass transit. DFW is not one of them.
I need more anime.
I need more comics.
I need more music.
There were more, but I don't really remember them now.
