Duck in the Face
8 January 2006 18:46I've just finished Pattern Recognition, the second book by Gibson that I have read. At first I was a bit disappointed in it, as it has both an identifiable main character and a discernible plot. Having finished it, neither of those issues end up detracting from the book, in fact it is quite good right up to the end when everything is smashed out and tied up as if Gibson was running out of time or paper with which to tell the story. Not as bad as a King ending, but not great either.
