So by now everyone knows about the hail from hell that we had today. The damage to my truck is fairly extensive, in fact it is not driveable now. My windshield will need to be replaced before I can drive on the highway, my moon roof is shattered and is only really being held together by duct tape, my rearview mirrors are shattered, the entire body is covered in dents and small bits of glass are inside the cab. To top it all off the hydraulic linkage for my clutch appears do be damaged so I can't get into gear and drive my truck home from El Cam.

I'm going to see if I can drive tomorrow after everything has dried out. I doubt that things will have managed to magically fixed themselves though, so I will have to see if someone can tow me to a mechanic. Knowing delivery times for parts for a 15 year old truck, the best I can hope for is my truck to be fixed by next Thursday.

This Thursday I am going to order all of the parts needed to fix my motorcycle. It will probably take close to week to get all of them in and the bike back together.

All this means I am without highway transport for a week. Ordinarily this wouldn't be big of a deal as I have a bicycle and should be able to get rides to work. However, I need to get to the Leather Factory in Burque on either Thursday or Friday so I can get some stuff for feast day, and my coworker won't be coming into work on Sunday. I guess I could put my carbs back in sometime before then, then take them back out when the new parts get here, but I don't want to drive my bike in Burque traffic.

So, is there any way someone could take me up to Burque during the day on Thursday or Friday? Or get some things for me and bring them down? Or wave a wand and fix my truck?

On the upside I have some entertaining reading material. Either someone is trying to find live NMT email addresses, or a really obsessive woman is stalking someone else (named Mark) and has their address confused with mine. Considering the awkwardness of some of the sentences I think it is the former, but I have had the latter happen before. Either way it is the most amusing spam I have received since the ultra-tinfoil hat rantings buried in html series from a few years ago.
