Despite several days of rain foreplay (thanks
my_smoky_eyes), the Rio is still dry. It does, however, have four wheeler tracks in it now, so at least it isn't empty.
This weekend I switched my knobbies for slicks and waxed my chain. For some reason,
sacra_imbri found this greatly amusing. I offered to wax _her_ chain, but she only laughed harder. It's like I said something dirty or something. ;D
All of the lamellar tabs for my new armor have their holes drilled, so I'm going to start tying them together. I will probably need to wax my other double shoulder to do the entire suit, but this should give me a good start.
It feels really good to eat a home cooked meal after lifting and DDRing. (I just verbified a video game, go me!)
My hands are getting beat up again. Right now I can see two burn marks (right thumb and first finger), a bruise (back of right hand, almost gone), an almost healed scratch/cut/rug burn thing (right thumb knuckle, at times this one is almost permanant), and the pink of new skin from a bunch of scratches (left pinkey). I'll probably add a few more burns tying my armor together.
