More Stuff
16 March 2004 02:11I said more stuff later, but I don't really know what to say. One shop table is is done except for painting, the other should be finished tomorrow (tuesday). Any suggestions as what color(s) to paint them?
I found the rules on thrust 'n throw javelins. They should pretty simple to make, so I will be going by hardware stores looking for siloflex. I'm thinking that we should be able to attach 4 of them behind our shields at war, thus making us a much more effective offensive unit.
Random job related facts: There are an estimated 1000(+-100) Near Earth Objects with a diameter greater than 1 kilometer. Anything this big that hits the Earth would have a very good chance of making us extinct. As of the end of 2003, 671 of them have been found, none of which are going to hit. LINEAR, the place I work, has discovery credit on 347 of them, plus about 100 comets. I have discovery credit on 1 comet, C/2003 V1. You can check out its orbital data here or its announcement here.
