Things I did at Burning Man

Saw a double rainbow
Danced in several spontaneous dance parties
Lost all interest in electronica
Climbed the man
Was astounded by Bliss Dancer
Fell asleep to the vibrations of a bass camp
Climbed the quad-helix, twice
Biked through white-out sand storms. A lot.
Wrote on the walls of the temple
Enjoyed bacon and bloody Mary's
Watched a wedding
Had a hot dog from a hot dog stand, in the middle of the open playa
Visited a hugging booth
Watched a great folk duo
Tried to teach M&D how to Texas two-step (failed)
Brought a rug to a Crystal Method concert, cuddled with D & R while eating honey
Heard some great talks on the singularity, life extension, subverting authority, journalism and robots
Gave two official talks, and one spontaneous unofficial one
Remembered my sunscreen
Forgot my sunscreen the last day
Drank enough water
Saw amazing art cars
Climbed a geodesic dome and took a nap in a net at the top
Took a shower
Shaved
Stayed up to watch the sun rise over the pyrosphere
Rode a Segway. They really are fun!
Rested in an amazing plywood slot-together onion dome
Danced. A lot
Saw a 2001 monolith
Wore a mask
Hung out in a hammock, under a tensegrity shade structure
Cheered at the man burning
Walked through a surreal sandstorm with the belle of the post-apocalyptic ball
Did some of R’s braids
Took a couple hundred pictures
Rode a kid’s BMX. A lot.
Saw beautiful art
Had some amazing connections in the Sacral Temple
