Nekkid, when you don't have enough skin left on your knee to stitch back up they just put on no-stik gauze pads and then wrap it up. You have to change them every day, and wash them out. Even better, the first time that they are changed they have to actually scrub the wounds out. This hurts. A lot.

I'm now waiting to hear from the other insurance and the police. I'm not being cited with anything, but I'm fairly certain that the other driver will be, seeing as how they ran a stop sign and didn't have a liscense.

I need to get my motorcycle picked up soon, but I'm really not certain how to do that. I doubt it is drivable, and even if it is, I'm not able to ride at this point. I think we'll go check it out and at least get the info and saddlebags.

I'm healing pretty quickly. At this rate I should be able to walk with a cane by Tuesday, and maybe even go into work then. In the meantime I'm enjoying my painkillers sleeping twenty hours a day and glad that I have great friends and family to help me through this. I love you all.

I went to the towing yard to take a look at my bike. The handle bar is bent up into a giant 'U', the fork is bent, the suspension stiffener bar is shattered and the piston covers are broken. That's just what is immediatey visible. I don't know about the rest, but it doesn't matter.

Damnit.

I took some pictures with my phone, but the cable is at work. I might post them this week though.
