Need a ride

Nekkid, I don't have a motor vehicle this week, but I need to return a fairly heavy pump to the waterbed store today. If I had a trailer for my bike I would take it that way, but I don't. Would anyone be able to pick me up after work today and take me there?

One of these days...

I will be able to find something in Burke without being lead there the first three times. Today however, was not one of those days. According to the USPS, MapPoint and Google Maps there is a post office on Montano by the tracks. I rode up and down that part of Montano three times trying to find it, but couldn't. I need a GPS and to have all directions given in Lat/Long to the nearest couple of feet.

Bicycle Tifecta in Play

Just to round out the day, during my unsucsessful noon ride I notice that the slow leak in my front tyre has decided that it is a bit of an underachiever and pick up the pace. So this afternoon I pull off my tube and patch it. After filling it back up with a little hand pump one of the guys in the office has, the little screw off bit on my valve stem (I use Presta valves) shoots off into the wall and makes a nice dent in it. Time to buy a new tube.
