Guilty Pleasures

I read many LJs, mostly those of people I know. However I do read a few from people that are FOAFs or farther. There is one of these that I read because it is just so damn funny. The person that writes it doesn't mean for it to be, but their world view is so different from mine (and IMNSHO, so naive) that it is like reading a Chick tract or watching 50's sci-fi/horror. I am often tempted to post back to them and offer my opinion on what they say, but I am afraid that they would either lock their LJ or stop posting completely as they seem to be the easily offended sort.

So I have two questions:

1) How many of you voyer blogs of people you don't/barely know?
2) Should I try to post to them?
