Chats

One of the nice things about commuting by bike are the chats I have along the way. Talking with random pedestrians, other cyclists and the occasional motorcyclist just puts you in such a better mood than the screaming honking stress fest that I see over on the road.

It wasn't my intention to talk about cycling, but since I don't have a car for now and my daily routine mostly consists of riding to work, doing work, riding home, and working on move related paperwork, it creeps into most things.

On a related note, if anyone has any junk bikes with 16" wheels I could use one or two. I need a decent front wheel, fork and headset.

Putting one foot in front of the other

What a nice evening. The temperature was just perfect for my "I feel lazy, so I'm going to go for a walk instead of do more paperwork" walk for dinner and my favorite magazine. I even found a second place that serves decent tofu. Yummy!

And this weekend will be busy with moving, but then it will be done. Next weekend I should be able to play some WoW with friends and work on a welding project if everything goes well.
