Many years ago, back when BeOS was the not quite yet the next big thing there were some really cool toys made for it. I think this often happens for new systems, computer or otherwise. While they are small and still becoming established a few hobbyists make a bunch of really creative toys before the bigger players come in and make the useful stuff.

I like the creative toys.

One guy made three of my favorites and I just today rediscovered them.
